The 32nd on-site promotion work meeting for the construction of the Menghe Shuanghou Reservoir Project was held on May 22. Zhang Tao, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Linyi Water Resources Group, led a team to investigate the resettlement project area of the Menghe Shuanghou Reservoir, the main part of the gravity dam, and the reconstruction site of G2 Beijing Shanghai Expressway.

Subsequently, a discussion and exchange meeting was held in the project department, during which the project legal representative, construction, construction agency, supervision, and resettlement housing construction units reported on the progress of their work and the urgent issues that needed to be coordinated and resolved. Group leaders Yang Lihong, Liu Jianwei, Huaying, and other comrades made specific arrangements for the relevant work. Comrade Zhang Tao pointed out after listening to the report that as is well known, the Menghe Shuanghou Reservoir Project is a major livelihood water conservancy project in the province and city. All participating units have fulfilled their duties and overcome numerous difficulties. After more than a year of hard work, they have created the Linyi speed and achieved phased victory. The entire project has been completed by more than 70%, and the achievements are worthy of pride. He fully affirmed the efforts made by comrades and fully recognized the support given by Yifangda Construction Project Management Co., Ltd., Provincial Water Resources Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and other relevant units. He called on the whole group to express sincere gratitude to the local levels for their support! He further pointed out that the on-site promotion meeting focused on urging the resolution of four important issues, including project progress, safety production, project quality, and clean governance construction. He demanded that the project legal person, various construction entities, participating units, etc. further enhance their political stance, firmly stand on the people's standpoint, demonstrate excellent work style, polish the excellent brands of construction, agency construction, supervision and other enterprises, and resolutely build the Menghe Shuanghou Reservoir into ten demonstration projects in accordance with the nine overall goals of strong foundation, waterproofing, safety, stability, benefiting people's livelihood, assisting agriculture, rural areas, protecting ecology, promoting culture, and casting water soul of the Menghe Shuanghou Reservoir Project.

We will resolutely assist counties, towns, and villages in building the Shuanghou Reservoir area of the Menghe River into a demonstration project for rural revitalization and wealth creation, which includes residential living areas, industrial resettlement areas, and ecological cultural tourism areas; We must not disappoint the trust and expectations of the vast number of reservoir immigrants nurtured by the inheritance of the Yimeng red gene, and resolutely build 4300 resettlement houses in the Shuanghou Reservoir of the Menghe River by the end of November with overall living conditions, realizing the demonstration project of nearby urbanization and happy homes; We must not let down the top-level design of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, as well as the support, love, and trust of leadership agencies and units such as the Municipal People's Congress, Municipal Political Consultative Conference, Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Finance, Water Resources, and State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. We must resolutely build the Menghe Shuanghou Reservoir into the "Shuanghou Model" demonstration project proposed by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, which aims to transform the reservoir from a model of mass contribution to a model of mass benefit.
